In Dream, a man named Pete lies on his deathbed and experiences flashbacks of his life. As Pete, you will go through the various stages of his life, learning about his story through a well-structured narrative. Players will use portals to travel throughout different dream worlds. Each dream world will be at a certain stage in Pete’s life. We want our players to experience the life he lived and learn how he ended up on his deathbed. For each level, there are tasks that need to be completed in order to progress into the next level. By doing those tasks, the player gets to learn more about Pete’s life. We wanted to create a narrative where people can somewhat relate to the life of Pete. Everyone human on earth will experience life and death, this game acts as a commentary on these inevitable aspects of the human experience.
