This is a builder/platformer game developed for DATT 3701 by 5 different people. The game works similarly to Super Mario Maker and Chicken Run. In other words, you create your own path toward the goal. However, it is more spontaneous in its flow. It can be played between 2-4 players, each taking their turn to build a part of the level before ALL of you get to try it out at the same time! Feel free to wreak havoc upon your friends and family in this chaotic game! The link for downloading the game is at the bottom of the website if you scroll down.
Lost in the world of WOIHI once more, our famous criminal escapes once more! Hidden in his newfound tower, our heroes must make their way to the top to catch the nefarious criminal! Too bad their teamwork ain’t the best. Will you do it as a team?… You probably won’t. Choose 1 of the 4 policemen and play to your advantage in order to achieve first place in order to capture the criminal! Think carefully on how to build your levels and sabotage your enemies in the process! Made an impossible level? Don’t blame us. Whoever gets the most points at the end, wins all the glory!

From the 2020-2021 course:
FA/DATT 3701 Collaborative Project Development in Games
The entire class collaborates on the realization of one or two ambitious projects. Students will work together as a development team by taking on roles where they focus on specific aspects of the project (such as Director, Designer, Artist, Programmer, Sound engineer, Interaction Designer, Publicity). The development team structure is modelled on teams used in large-scale project development within fields related to Digital Media, such as contemporary art practice, game development, creative software development, and interactive experience development that rely on multi-stakeholder collaboration and interdisciplinary research. Projects may incorporate partnerships with York-based Faculties, Departments, or research teams depending on the focus of the project. The nature of the project will vary from year to year, but will be a significant work in the field of Digital Media. The Instructor(s) will prepare a general description of the project(s) at the beginning of the course. The details of the project(s) will be developed as part of the class activities. As part of the project development and execution students will be expected to prepare presentations, posters, and a written paper. The culmination of this course will be a final presentation, which will be open to the public. In addition to group assignments, students are evaluated based on their individual contribution, teamwork, presentations, and other deliverables as appropriate.
