Individual, Intimacy, Collective is an interactive media project using Touchdesigner. The project conveys three modes of human socialization through visual and sonic interaction. Whenever a participant enters the detection range of the Kinect V2, the visual interaction triggers a corresponding effect based on the total number of participants and their behaviors. Meanwhile, a random tone/chord composed of multiple random tones is triggered when one participant or multiple participants are in range. All in all, the intention of this project’s interactive visual and sound changes is to provoke users to reflect on the dialectical relationship between the individual and the collective
